Open/NonPro/Youth Maturities Splitwater Ranch is a high-country reining horse ranch (Elevation 6200) nestled in the Vail Valley and straddling the Eagle River. The name comes from a large island that splits the river on the west-end of the ranch and is also attributed to the junction where the Eagle meets the Colorado River just a short distance away.
